Congratulations!
Lee Ann Zlomek was a daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, friend, and Christian. Her life, and ultimately her death to breast cancer, reminded her family and her community about the importance of faith, hope, the love of God, and love for one another.
Team Zlomek's mission is to keep Lee Ann's legacy alive and to encourage Lee Ann's love of God and of math through Lee Ann's Lift Cards and the Zlomek Perseverance in Mathematics Award.
Let's Go Racing!
Congratulations to Camille Gomez, Mountain Ridge High School's 2024 winner of the Zlomek Perserverance in Mathematics Award. Camille has always challenged herself, especially in her math studies, and she was known for studiously taking notes and asking questions. During her senior year, Camille took and conquered honors classes of college Algebra and Probabilities and Statistics. Her teachers believe that the perseverance she showed in high school will benefit her greatly in the future. Camille plans to attend the University of West Florida, majoring in Marine Biology. Congratulations, Camille!
