Team Zlomek

     Lee Ann Zlomek was a daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, friend, and Christian.  Her life, and ultimately her death to breast cancer, reminded her family and her community about ​the importance of faith, hope, the love of God, and love for one another.  

     Team Zlomek's mission is to keep Lee Ann's legacy alive and to encourage Lee Ann's love of God and of math through Lee Ann's Lift Cards and the Zlomek Perseverance in Mathematics Award.

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Todd, Mountain Ridge High School's 2025 winner of the Zlomek Perserverance in Mathematics Award.  Kaitlyn is hard worker with a never-give-up attitude.  Her dedication to conquering whatever math problem was thrown at her would have made Lee Ann proud.  Congratulations on a job well done, Kaitlyn.  We wish you the best of luck as you pursue a career in early childhood education.
